Well servicing rigs must work wherever producing wells need servicing. One of the primary ropes on these mobile rigs is the tubing line.
The tubing line operates on the main draw works and is reeved through the traveling block for handling tubing and rod. Often the tubing line is rigged with both ends attached to the drum with one end spooling on the second layer of wraps immediately adjacent to the other end spooling on the first layer of wraps. This is called “double fast line” spooling and is done to speed up travel time of the main hoist during rod and tubing pulling operations.

Our quality begins with our raw material qualification process which suppliers must meet standards that are more stringent than industry.  We then document rod coils though completion rope manufacturing for full traceably.  We don’t stop there; the traceability continues into the field as each schedule is tracked to the customer.   Throughout the manufacturing process we break test wires and tie that information to the coil and/or reel of rope.   Thus ensuring we know the characteristics of the rope from its infancy and know it meets or exceeds our published strengths.
